Month Guarantee, Returns Policy, Damage by Carrier, Final Note.
12 Month Guarantee
All our tables and chairs are sourced from reputable overseas
manufacturers who provide excellent quality furniture. We are so
pleased with the workmanship of our manufacturers that we offer a 12
month guarantee against any faults that are not caused by the day to
day use of the item(s). All of our Oak Furniture including the
Bi-Cast leather padding on our seats, is covered by this same
guarantee unless we have graded the item as a Second.
Seconds all have damage or defects to a varying degree, sometimes
these are caused in transit, from overseas to NZ, which may or may
not have been repaired. We will detail all known defects prior to
sale, and therefore all 'seconds' are sold as seen, with a 180 Day
guarantee. Defects are not covered by this guarantee. We therefore
advise all customers to view items in this category to satisfy
themselves that they are happy with what they see prior to purchase.
In general, we have found that customers are happy to accept a
defect or minor damage for a good reduction in price, according to
their taste. Buying a 'second' is a great way to purchase a good
piece of furniture at a heavily discounted price. Unless stated
otherwise - all of our seconds are fully functioning pieces of
furniture. These are the conditions under which you purchase any
furniture classed as a second.
Our Returns Policy
You may return your goods
within 7 days of receipt at your own expense in perfect condition.
The goods must also be in their original packaging so that the goods
are available for resale. If you return goods damaged or with
damaged packaging then we reserve the right not to refund.
As packaging of our goods is
critical for both safe transport and resale, Top Furniture NZ Ltd
reserves the right to charge a 10% restocking fee if the packaging
is damaged.
We always endeavour to be
fair and flexible with our customers, and will always strive to
reconcile any genuine complaints.
If you receive faulty items
from us, or goods that do not match the items description, then Top
Furniture NZ Ltd will offer a replacement item at our own expense,
within 30 days of being notified.
Damage by the Carrier
In the unlikely event you
receive any goods that are damaged please mark the delivery
invoice/note accordingly. It is better that you e-mail us if
possible, immediately (as well) so that we have a dated record of
all/any correspondence to do with your claim.
If the carrier is
responsible for the damage (or you suspect they might be) then we
obviously need to register a claim immediately, so any digital
photos you are able to take will help.
We do endeavour to work hard
to resolve any claims as quickly as possible, so anything you are
able to do to assist us is appreciated.
A Final Note
If you do have any problems
at all with your goods, then Top Furniture NZ Ltd will do all that
we are able to resolve genuine issues. We operate a high degree of
integrity when dealing with customers and appreciate your custom.
If for any reason Top Furniture NZ needs to
replace your item and an identical item isn't currently in stock,
then we will endeavour to come to a fair and reasonable arrangement
as quickly as possible with you. Furniture designs and lines
change constantly and sometimes we may only stock one or two to
trial extra large items or speciality items.
